Dr. Tyler J. Weber, OD

 

Dr. Weber is a board certified Optometrist who practices with the highest licensure and scope of practice for Optometrists in the state of NH. His schedule is open to help patients of all ages by providing a wide range of optometric services. 

Dr. Weber was born and raised in southern New Hampshire. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of New Hampshire before receiving his Doctorate of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry in Boston.

Dr. Weber provides caring and comprehensive eye care to his patients. He enjoys all aspects of Optometry with a special interest in dry eye and hard to fit contact lenses.

He completed optometric externships at multiple clinics, community health centers, and VA hospitals in the greater Boston area. Dr. Weber also completed specialized training in ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and advanced dry eye. He is also our Scleral Contact Lens Specialist at Capital Vision Center.

In his spare time, Dr Weber enjoys spending time with his family, wife and dog. He also enjoys playing basketball, football, boating on the lakes in New England, and listening to music. He also is a big fan of the Patriots and Celtics.

Dr. K. Cameron Engelhart, OD

 

Dr. Engelhart graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maine. He then received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston MA.

Dr. Engelhart provides caring and comprehensive eye care to his patients, with a special interest in dry eye, complex ocular disease,  pediatric myopia management, and specialty contact lenses.

 He completed his optometric training at the Naval Health Clinic in Newport RI, the Global Vision Rehabilitation Center in Miami FL, and various community health centers/VA clinics in the greater Boston area.

Dr. Engelhart is specially certified to prescribe various treatments for dry eye, nearsightedness, and ocular disease, including glaucoma. Dr. Engelhart is also trained to preform BlephEx and iLux dry eye procedures and specially certified in MiSight Myopia Management.

Outside of the office he enjoys traveling, training his dogs “Rylee and Fynn”, and spending time with family. Born and raised in Nashua NH, he is happy to serve the southern New Hampshire community and welcomes patients of all ages.

Dr. Eugene S. Baylus, OD

 

Dr. Baylus was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland and then received his doctorate of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Baylus now lives with his family in Loudon, NH.

Dr. Baylus has been with Capital Vision Center for 20+ years and has been serving the patients in the Concord area with the greatest care and compassion. Those of you that seen him over the years know that he loves to tell jokes and make eye exams enjoyable and educational at the same time.

Dr. Baylus practices General Optometry with special interests in family care. He regularly works with pediatric patients and patients of all ages. In his spare time he enjoys his family, photography, motorcycles, and working with computers.

Dr. Keith A. Emery, OD

 

Dr. Keith Emery joined his father Dr. Richard Emery in 1985 after receiving his medical degree. His 35 years of experience have provided him the opportunity to meet and care for many wonderful patients. Seeing families grow and helping with all their eye care needs brings him great satisfaction.

Prior to practicing eye care in Derry, Dr. Emery was an assistant professor at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He also completed a year of specialty training in Optometric Medicine in Memphis.

Dr. Emery received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine. His Doctor of Optometry degree is from the New England College of Optometry in Boston where he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Saint Anselm College is where he received his bachelor’s degree in science. Dr. Emery is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Emery is a member of both the New Hampshire and the American Optometric Associations. He is the recent past president of the New Hampshire Board of Optometry and is currently on the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Optometric Association. He and his family live in Derry where he enjoys outdoor activities, especially golfing.

Dr. Diane Nelson, OD

 

Dr. Nelson began practicing in Derry in 1987. She received her undergraduate degree from Colby College and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston.

While in Boston Dr. Nelson completed a year of post graduate training in children’s vision. During this time she gained knowledge and experience in the various conditions that are unique to children and has tremendous success in caring for our young patient’s needs.

Dr. Nelson enjoys general practice and has developed a special interest in challenging contact lens problems. Her training and experience have offered success to patients who have previously had unsuccessful lens fittings elsewhere.

Derry is where Dr. Nelson and her family live. She enjoys many of the activities offered by our community.

Dr. Brian J. Weber, OD (Emeritus)

Dr. Weber is a graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, Maine and the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. He has been proudly serving the Concord area since 1986.

Dr. Weber founded Capital Vision Center over 30 years ago. He always utilized the newest technology to treat and diagnose. He took pride in ensuring all of his patients are well educated about the health of their eyes at every visit.

Dr. Weber practiced general optometry with a special interest in Contact Lenses, Refractive Laser Eye Surgery, and Family Eyecare.

In his spare time, Dr. Weber enjoys spending time with his family, boating on the beautiful lakes of New Hampshire, antique automobiles, football, baseball, and basketball.

Dr. Brian Weber retired from patient care in early 2021. He continues to be involved behind the scenes and is very proud that his patients are able to be taken care of by his son Dr. Tyler Weber.

Dr. Tyler Weber, Dr. Baylus, and Dr. Engelhart will continue to deliver the fantastic patient experience that Capital Vision Center is known for.
